hi guys, was just wondering would my fabias standard wheel nuts on my 1.4 petrol with standard 14 inch trims fit with standard 16 inch vrs alloys were i to buy them or would i have to get new longer wheel nuts?

I used my standard bolts from my steels on my 16inch vrs alloys without problems (mines a 1.9tdi, but doubt they use different bolts).

Best thing to do is test it, you'll want the bolt to turn 360deg at least 5 times before tight.

If you're getting a set of a standard colour you may do well to get new ones anyway, mine were pretty grubby (and black) when i swapped them over, but my alloys are black at teh moment anyway so it doesn't make too much of a difference. Might be more obvious in silver alloys though.

must go take off a trim and have a look
