Just a quick query, how come Zennon headlights are such an expensive option, the bulbs aren't that dear, whats the difference betwwen an ordinary headlamp and one that takes zennon bulbs, am I being thick? :ashamed:

Zenon filled regular bulbs aren't that expensive, but proper xenon elements are.

Then add in all the self levelling stuff and it gets rather pricey. Replacement xenon "bulbs" for vauxhalls are around

The bulbs do last alot longer than halogen bulbs and are intended to last the life of the vehicle, though I very much doubt that is ever the case.

IMO, It depends upon how much you "need" them. I personally find that my bulbs Phillips Blue vision for dipped and H3 Rallye off Road beams on full beam work a treat (obviously only on my private road), and are brighter than Xenons, yes I am sure you dont have the look which xenons give, but for

True - best bet for anybody wanting to see the difference would probably be to come to a meet and see people's cars with both fitted and make their own minds up as to whether it's worth the money - each to their own as you said... I know a lot of people don't like sunroofs either but I do
