after some coilover advice

Featured Replies

weitec hicon GT's are probably one of the most favoured coilovers on here. I have just had a set put on mine and the quality and handling are very good. They are over £400 for a new set though but someone has a second hand set for £300 on here.

I think a lot of the golf MK4 boys use JOM coilovers and they seem to give good feedback on them.

Another thumbs up for Weitecs. Ride is pretty good, plus handling is vastly improved.

all the cheap coilovers

JOM / Hottunning / FK / TA techniks will all break your back...

i'd bypass them all and go for some AP's

Really appreciate all your advice guys thankyou :)

aps are not exactly dear though are they

I have weitec hicon gt coils, done over 30k miles on them so far - happy with the result. Lower, stiffer, less body roll, ride still ok.

They are firm, but not harsh or crashy. Good build quality, galvanised shocker. AP, Weitec both made by KW who have a very good reputation.
