I think it's a little steep, what can/should I be expecting at the most?

I was quoted 35 a side, 50 a side from most expensive garage

I had the bushes replaced last year under warranty. It def didnt take more than 2 hours.

1 hour for each side is completely reasonable, if a garage thinks it will take any longer they really aren't worth the effort.

I just dropped my subframe replaced all front bushes took me about an hour. Not the first time I've had to take it off though

Took my garage about 4 hours. Took sub frame off to line bushes up correct.

Got charged 110.00 labour even though I supplied the cupra bushes.

Felt like a rip off but I know they're done neat and tidy as I kept going back to see the work being done.

If you dont need your car for a few days. Take the carriers off the car and take them done to Skoda/Seat and get them to push the bushes in for you. Cost me £25 for them to do this. Might want to ask them to put the wishbones in for you too.

did you try jw service centre in castle roe? there vag specialists based just outside coleraine tel:028 7035 7124 that who I get work done by an have never been overally expense.

My local Skoda dealer charged my £108 per side just to fit the bush as I'd already bought the uprated bushes. Managed to do one side myself but ended up paying for them to do the other side as our generator decided to throw a valve.

Turned out I also needed a new console as the aluminium thread came out when they removed the wishbone bolt. They couldnt create a new thread either. Took 2 days and a total cost of £427 !!!! before my discount that is :p
