2 Garages 3 times still not happy with them they are lighting up the sky ffs!!

So can anyone recommend a garage either Edinburgh, Central Region, or Glasgow who can do it properly?

Oh and not keep charging £44+vat for bloody doing it!

You need to go to a dealer with the VAS system (or a VW specialist with VCDS who knows what they are doing) as the self levelling needs putting in to an alignment mode before they adjust the lights, otherwise the self levelling will be fighting against the adjustments!

Did you make the garages aware they were self levelling headlights?

Yeh i know about the alignment mode but I'm sick of them not being done properly so looking for a garage who can do them properly and i wasn't sure what price is normal so £44+Vat is a rip off then?

Never paid more than £20, but that wasn't on self levellers.

Main dealers buddy, it takes them literally 15-20 mins too thats the thing.

Maybe if they spent 40 mins doing it they would be level

I would go back and point out that you paid for the headlights to be levelled and that they haven't done the job properly. Scare the pants of them by telling them you got pulled over for your headlight alignment and that you narrowly avoided getting a ticket! Make sure you say this very loudly on a busy Saturday morning in front of all the prospective new car buyers in the showroom - that normally works wonders! Oh, and when they have put them right ask for a refund for the inconvenience of having to go back.
