hi all, my brothers fabia classic door locks have stopped working, they lock from the inside with the snip but the key has no effect on them, this started on the passenger door and now the driver door. its a classic which means no central locking and he has to leave it unlocked so he can get in himself. will he need new locks or have they just become detached? any help will be greatly appreciated as the car is unsecure at the moment. thanks in advance

I haven't a clue, but either the barrel is broken or perhaps the lock rod has broken/been detached (number 14 below).
