might have finally made my mind up and gona go for some koni STR.Ts. think it will drop it low enough to look better without the problems you get with going to low, and handle better, so no need for coillies which i have read dont handle as good as fixed(?)any thoughts?

All depends on the kits matey - you can get fanstics spring and damper kits that handle better than coilovers and coilovers that handle better than springs and shocks! :p

For example a H&R Spring with Billy Dampers will give more than 1,000,000% better handling than coilvoers from places like Hottuning and most kits that cost around £200

But a KW V3 coilover kit that is set up properly will handle better than the above! :p

The STRT kit is OK - Koni are not what they used to be and their springs have never been 'brilliant' IMHO will lower the car a little but we have know the rear to sit a little higher.... but most spring and damper kits do this on the Mk1 Fabia/Polo 9N/6L Ibiza/A2 Chassis.

After owning an Ibiza FR I would go for a H&R suspenion set up (little stiff) or Eibach Coilovers.

Ah , now I had the STRT on my Fabia for over 100k miles , and completely rated them

Value for money was good too

It lowered mine really well , and mate it with the rear ARB and it made it a stunning handling car

What ever you go for , do the rear ARB , it is amazing

Ap0gee has the STRT in his vRS too , so may be worth PMing him for his opinion too , as mine was the 100PD

But was well impressed with mine

What about the kw spring/damper kit? Are they similar price?
