Just wondering if anyone has noticed their cars get quicker with miles? Since rolling over 70k miles mine is going better than ever, it goes like the proverbial off a shovel! :thumbup:B) Is this a sign that the engine has finally loosened up nicely?

Will probably be due to the change in weather lol, or mind over matter, different RON petrol etc. Not sure you'll notice any difference with the age of the engine.

Engine wouldve been run in a long time before 70,000!

Its probaly due to the weather, cool and/or damp air will make it run better

I find the longer I have a vehicle the slower it feels due to me getting used to the power.

Im using the same fuel as I always have (TESCO 99 RON) The temperature has been higher recently which should make the car feel slower. And its been dry.

I may be wrong but I thought additives and other ingredients were varied throughout the year to suit temperatures, with winter fuel being a bit less potent (for the same octane rating)?

Might explain the engine pulling a bit better?
