they've got some info on the Fabia Vrs

It's an almost (if not) complete copy of what was said in this issue of the magazine, with the conclusion being

The practicality of five doors, economy, quality and keen pricing are compelling plus points for the Fabia vRS. But this is of little consequence to an enthusiast who wants a sharp, small Skoda that's happy to sing at six thousand revs. All of which leads us to conclude that the Fabia vRS is a missed opportunity.

And I think they are right :(

wait till its chipped and then hope they test it again.... I know Skoda got their wrists slapped for the orig Octavis vRS scam in Autocar but it didnt half sell some metal....

My thought exactly Q...errm.... that it's a copy.

I remember the last sentence of the Fabia RS being a missed opprotunity and hey presto....same sentence.

Wonder if I could get my Mum interested in a Fabia RS instead of the 16v Elegance?

Got to drop my fab off at the dealers for its 30k service in just over a week, so will try and see if I can get a test drive in the vRS. Be interesting to see how it drives, although it would have been better with a slightly more powerful (petrol?) engine and no back doors...

edit: pre-book a test drive - they don't have one just yet!
