Am driving my daughters 10 year old fiesta since our kast car went a month or so ago so the days are seriously being counted down!!!

Its at Sheerness! Just parked up awaiting its new owner, popped into dealer today to see whether it had arrived and also the book my registration number, they checked the emails for ECM delivery notes and a delivery was coming in today but that was a Yeti and a Roomster, not my Octavia, next delivery they are expecting Friday, so then we looked at the registrations available, had about 6 free, and the one that I would of taken in a shot they put on a demo car yesterday, so will have to wait a few more days in case anything interesting comes in, not being cleaned by them, just having it PDI'd by them then will collect bring it home and it will receive a 'new car details' by me, am going to do the following:

AB magifoam

rinse

IronX

2BM wash and dry using QD

clay

Lime Prime by hand to remove and imperfections and generally tidy it up

IPA wipe down before finishing with

2 coats of the new DoDo Supernatural Hybrid wax/sealent

QD wipe down

Winodws getch G3

Wheels will be rinsed, washed, ironx'd and then 2 coats of SN hybrid to seal and wax

Interior:

Carpets/soft materials will be protected with gtech I1

Leather will have a run over with gtech L1

Engine bay wiped over and sprayed with diluted PERL to protect the plastics etc

Tyres, cant decide between PERL or Zaino Tyre Gloss.

Looking forward to giving it some love and getting to know my new car!!!!

I got a Rotary, but hopefully as they arent prepping it, it hopefully wont be full or minor scratches, but if it does need anything I expect it would need a DA with a finishing polish and pad, if you can hekp with that then yes please!

Well got fed up with it never turning up from Shearness and being told anyday now from the dealer, so I rang Skoda UK today, they looked it up and said 'oh its not due to the dealer until 23rd August' and I said yes that was when it was scheduled to not be built until August, but as its been built and sat in Shearness for two weeks I would like the car as I have advised teh dealer, the lady said that the dealer hadnt updated the order so it is sat there awaiting despatch in August, which is good as it shows that they were willing to hold until September 1st for the 61 plate on the VAT deal, but as I told my dealer 2 months ago, the sooner the better it appears that the dealer hadnt updated the computer!!

So, I need the car by next Tuesday AM as I am away for a couple of days then on a bit of a road trip and I really dont fancy my daughters beaten up old Fiesta!!!!

Can it be delivered from Shearness and PDI'd etc in time for Tuesday morning do you think???

Well all seems sorted now, car being delivered to the dealer on Monday, hopefully AM, then I am going in on MOnday afternoon to sort all the paperwork out and then collect Tuesday AM all being well!!!

Its going to be a long few days...!

Well it arrived at the dealer this morning, been and had a look at it collect it later this afternoon! Oh and it has sunlike on it :-(
