usually a larger diameter compressor wheel and various gubbins, better gaskets and such

Turbo dynamics stage 1 hybrid consists of a pd150 turbo with saab compressor wheel thats 200-220bhp and stage 2 is 220-240 same turbo and bmw compressor wheel, May be other bits and pieces but im not too sure.

how much for the stage 2 turbo?

also on the TD website and not too sure what im looking for? are TD the best to go to?

is this the stage 2? it says its for the ASZ engine, so wouldnt fit the BLT?

also do i have to exchange my own turbo for this or can i buy this straight and are they brand new or reconditioned?

TD stage 2 outright is about £1,000 - can get some off that exchanging your old unit. TD are a good company to get them from too.

I sold my KKK unit for £150 and bought a new MD376 off Turbo Dynamics for £1,086. It's now just over £1,100 I believe!

or a PD150 Leon, or a PD160 Ibiza. not sure if the turbo from a Passat would fit though, isn't the engine longitudinal rather than transverse? would that make a difference?

whats the md446? as on their site it states thats for the 130bhp? the md376 is a stage 2 and for the 150bhp engines? whats the differences?

is that the money they give back to you for your turbo or is that a private sale?

The MD446 is the hybrid PD130 turbo, the MD376 is the hybrid PD150 turbo but they both will fit. Most big power Fabia's run the MD376 (it's the turbo I have and I run 240bhp+).

I sold my turbo privately. You used to be able to buy an old PD150 turbo and they would hybrid it for ~£600 but they no longer do that service so I just bought a new one and sold mine privately.

Yes they're all new units with a years warranty.
