Skoda service plan.H

Featured Replies

Hi,I am new to Skodas and just ordered a Monte Carlo 1.2 TSI ,I am wondering if Skoda garages usually offer a 3 year service plan. If so what does it usually cost or is it cheaper to pay for each service individually. Thanks.

We looked into this and it seemed expensive compared to the one off option VW offer. I'd not bother personally.

Same for me, the monthly plan worked out more expensive than paying for three services. Shame they don't do the 3 years servicing for £200 like other manufacturers do.

would it be rude to ask what it was going to cost you? its just ill be in the same position soon and it'd be interesting to know if all garages have some leeway on pricing or its Skoda driven

There have been a number of posts on this previosly, and it depends on the deal offerred. Personally i was offered £ 400 or about £ 11.50 a month for the first three services which seemed reasonable as service 1 and 2 is about £ 180 and service 3 £ 250, so theoretically good value. BTW i have a VRS on fixed 10k service intervals and i currently do about 20k per year.

Others have been offered similar packages at far higher prices though.

Whilst other say that when a service is due it is worth phoning around different dealers and getting the best price.

End f the day, you do what is best for you.

I have taken up the fixed cost servicing for 3 years (I do less than 10k a year). The best part is they let you finance it at zero %!! So it is £10.32 a month for 3 years iirc. That's not bad, and you future proof yourself against future rises, and it's easier on the old budgeting plan too

10 or 11 £ per month isnt too bad, ill see what they offer nearer the time, cheers

I got offered £15 pm for servicing and maintenance for 3 years this includes everything even wiper blades, MOT. Up to 60.000 miles (except tyres)

Wasn't even offered a plan on mine :'(

It wasn't offered to me, but I saw it on here and enquired about it. I think you can purchase it anytime up to the first service so you can always add it on at a later date if you wish.
