Window and Boot Problem

Featured Replies

On Saturday I decided it's time to swap the wheels around and put the winter/all-season tyres on the back of my mums car(1.9 TDI comfort). I opened the passenger passenger window to talk to my dad, turned the car around, then when I tried to close the window, BANG. The window can go down, but not up. I can hear the motor working, but that's it.

Secondly, I noticed the interior light was not working, so this morning checked the fuse (#4), it had blown so changed it. However I tried to open the boot and nothing happened. As the fuse cover was off, I checked Fuse No 31 and it seams fine.

I'm guessing the window will be, door card and carrier off job, then look, but any ideas what the hatch problem could be?
