Calipers carriers and discs

Matt

are carriers and holders the same thing or different?

carriers are the holders....need carriers/calipers/ discs from a octy vrs mk1/golf anniverary/audi tt 2wd and slight mod to the disc backing plates.

Pads are the same but the rattle shims for them are different.

Oi, Mr Positive - beat it back to club Lupo! :p

As said above what parts u will need, as for the slight mod its the heat sheild which u could just remove like i did.

I have no noise from mine what so ever...... and they make a difference.

Or buy the lupo ones which are the same for £6 for the pair..

agree with chris...mine make a difference and no noise....use mk4 golf backing plates with the holes widened

the noise is in reverse

;)

I think that is quite cheap sure i paid that just for calipers and carriers lol

One thing that really bugs me about the standard rear brakes is the fact that they rust like mad, surely having even larger rear brakes won't help matters in terms of them rotting away? Mine were even coated from new with paint to stop the rust, but it hasn't worked and they are now looking rather shoddy again.

the heat they generate destroys the paint...need zinc coated ones.
