My girlfriends 1.2 HTP Fabia (2004) the front wiper has stopped working, the rear wiper will activate from the stalk and its not the wiper motor or fuse as a double tap towards the driver of the wiper stalk activated the front wiper, alll fuses were checked, Is this a relay problem or does the stalk need to be replaced?

is your bonnet closed properly as this causes them not to work, happened to me

Have a look at post #23 on this thread. That guy had the same problem as you and traced it back to the plug on the stalk being loose. If it's not that you could have a faulty stalk.

Thanks I fiddled withthe stalk connection and the front wipers activated? Do i have to take off the steering wheel to access the lateral connection on the steering column because im pretty sure the stalk is not faulty! :'(
