VRS USB stereo

Featured Replies

My VRS is one of the best cars Ive ever owned.I now want to replace the standard stereo with something that I can play USB sticks on and would appreciate any advice and experience anyone can offer.

Is it possible to go for a USB player only? Could leave the CDs at home then! Not really worried about a speaker change as I find current stuff fine for me.

Thanks.

Why not get a connects2 lead?

As long as you have and ipod/mp3 player it will play through your current stero!

I got a sony xplod from amazon its reduced from 250 to 105quid and its amazing. Usb aux bluetooth and handsfree, I'd recomened it a few others have got it as well on here

Things you'll need:

Fascia adapter - £3 from your dealer

Aerial booster - £5 from ebay

If your radio has inline bullet connectors, then you wont need any other adapters, otherwise you'll need an iso adapter to change the permanent and ignition 12v wires around. Again, about £5 from ebay.
