Finally got around to taking some photo's of the car today. Bought it totally standard back in november 2010.

Year: 2005

Milege: 53,000

Modifications: Pipercross Panel Filter, Shark Performance Stage 1 Re-Map, De-cat, Jetex Cat Back Resonated System, FR3 Engine Mounts.

Hopefully running around 220bhp, Cant wait to get it rolling roaded. :wonder:

Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.

My brand new superb has a software failure : Side assist unavailable Lane assist unavailable Front assist unavailable Travel assist unavailable Protective occupant unavailable Dynamic sign unavailable Dynamic cornering light unavailable it has only done10 miles and am told there is no fix as of yet and has been in the dealership since I picked it up 5 weeks ago. anyone else have this problem?

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that. Climatronic fan not working - Octavia Mk2 2006

The fan for air conditioning and heater on my 2006 Octavia Mk2 L&K is not working. I have checked the fuses and they are OK. Does it have a relay that might have failed? I am hoping it is not the fan unit itself, as this seems to be peculiar to RHD models with climatronic and was discontinued by Skoda in 2022. (Part no. 1K2 820 021).
