If it makes you feel any better Lady E, I remember when there were just 2 channels and they were in black and white.

In about 1964(?) a mate at school got a new TV that could get BBC2 in COLOUR! Whole gang of us went round his house to marvel at it but his mam wouldn't let us in!

I think I also remember the little BBC interludes eg the potters wheel, but that may be because I have seen them in the "do you remember how TV used to be" type programs

I feel a little better thanks. The Films I remember were made by someone like 'Shell' and cover things like making stain glass windows for a cathedral and People in an Asian country traveling around in boats with hulking great engines out of cars/trucks bolted to them. The Stained glass one was my favourite. Super colourful
