could be something simple like a gasket of pipe leaking, but likely its bearings have packed up, and the noise is the impellor/ rotor fins scraping away at the housing. if that is the case it wants replacing quick, before it goes completely, filling the intercooler and exhaust with oil and possibly destroying the engine. nice eh? get it checked quick.
