felicia pick up front end question

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have an R reg pick-up and have been looking at a later model hatchback in the scrappy with the chrome grill front

How hard would it be to fit this bonnet and bumper to my r reg truck?

cheers in advance

danny

There's an extra panel that bolts to the front panel plus the lights. Not sure if the bumper is different too. Jim (felicia16v) will know, if he doesn't its not worth knowing!

hi, ive just done this conversion,

all the front off a mk2 fits but you will need to change the slam/front panel/

i just bought a mk2 and swopped everything

that's interesting stuff, you didn't by chance take a pic of where you drilled out the spot welds? mine is so rotten i can't even see where the welds are

these are the best photos with the front panel off,

i think it was only spot welded around lights/bumper mounts & bottom by rad,

easist front panel ive ever taken off & re used,

thanks for those rich, from the pics it looks like you used a proper spot weld drill...

i've never seen felicia with the front panel removed before, i never realised that the front crossmember was perforated like that at the front... when mine is off i don't think i'll bother welding it back on, i'll just bolt it on to make it quicker and easier to remove and refit the engine
