Got a Bolero unit to try on my car,swapped it with the Audience in 5 minutes,it works well but no sound at all is coming out .Is there any coding to do between the head unit and amplifier for it to work ?.Looked at the back plugs on the Audience and Bolero and they all look the same,nothing seems to be missing,Seems like the amp is not receiving any power supply.Haven't changed the gateway yet to solve the battery draining issues as I have to sort this problem first.What is the point of having a nice head unit but no sound ??? :'( :'(

You have to code the Bolero with VCDS if you have a Sound System (external amp) fitted.

I am not sure exactly how, have a search on some of the golf gti forums as I am sure there was a guide on one of them.
