Standard VRS Brakes

Featured Replies

Finally got some 312s, so I'm going to look at selling mine, but I'm abit unsure what they fit etc. How much should I look at selling them for? They've got ATE power discs and green stuff pads with a good life on them.

Good luck mate

Had mine on ebay auction for about a month and all you get is ebay pervs watching them even tho they were below a ton......that calipers/carriers, discs and pads with loads of life left....

Somebody emailed me saying that they reckoned that they would fit a Mk 4 golf tdi........but i'm unsure on this tbh.

TBH Tas, you'll probably be better off keeping the originals in the garage until you get rid of the car...

That way you can refit the original 288mm setup and sell on the 312mm setup - they'll always be a market for 312s throughout the various vag forums

+1

for your info they will fit any 288mm disc equiped car with separate carriers from the hub assesmby, so basically mk4 golf gti, tdi, octavia 1.8t's, not the vrs and 130tdis, plus the ibiza cupras etc with 288mm discs.

So they won't work as a upgrade for a non VRS Fabia etc??

Not without a hub upgrade....

indeed the 280s and lower all have the carrier built into the hubs a right pita if you wanna go bigger
