Cornering "foglights" - Can they be turned off?

Also, these "foglights" (in quotes because, as discussed before, they are actually NOT foglights due to being too high) are set very high and actually cause serious dazzle to on-coming drivers.

INCORRECT.

The legislation says that the bottom of the fog lamp lens cannot be LOWER than 250mm, or higher than 1250mm. The Yeti is well within those parameters and would not have been granted European Type Approval if otherwise.

Just been looking in my Maxidot and the cornering function can be switched off, on my 170 Elegance 4x4. Don,t know if it was active but the box went unticked when I pressed the button.

That only turns off the cornering function of the Xenon headlights. The "CORNER" function of the foglights (as it is described in the owner's manual, page 57) still operates. As Shadowphax pointed out in the opening post of this thread, in fact.
