After a frantic day at work, I was very good and methodical

1. Went to Morrisions to do a top up grocery shopping, coming as close to just over £40 as I could manage- let me get a voucher for 6p off per litre when I take the Superb for its first drink tomorrow. Realise I will still be spending £80 plus, but psychologically feels good to have a voucher

2. Got home and acknowledge family, had tea.

3. Then had some fun

Rubber boot liner is now unwrapped and setting on dining room floor

FItted floor mats likewise

Lidl seat back coat hangers now assembled (£5 each compared to £16+ for Skoda)

and most importantly- Briskoda sticker taken out of storage ready for pride of place on new car tomorrow.

Now to try and chill and hopefully get some sleep - worse than a child at Christmas :beer:

Finally- Four heated seats seemed a good idea in November- dont think I will get any value from them this weekend

You have pretty much described me 3 weeks ago, I don't have a sticker though, or heated seats.

1.4 Octavia doing 34.3mpg at the moment, gonna need lots more vouchers.

What time do your dealers open, get up there and let them make you a coffee and watch them give your car the once over

When i picked my last new car i got up to the dealers at opening time and had to wait till 11am to drive it due to changing the insurance over that was before they did the 7 days free.

I can finally say that I get my Superb "tomorrow"

Hope you have a great day in your new "baby",I'm sure the mist will lift and sun will shine on your paintwork which really shows Rosso Brunello up the best. hopefully you get delivery with a full tank of fuel, my dealer said that all Superbs get a full tank as opposed to the fivers worth that they put in everything else!
