New to the forum but had my lemon yellow Fab VRS since October.

Sold my Golf GTI TDI 25th Anniversary to free up some funds to do a bit of travelling and was very lucky to snap up an absolute bargain of a VRS. £3500, 92k on the clock, 53 plate, FSSH. Think maybe because it was yellow was bit cheap..? Really well looked after too, guy I bought it from was a nice bloke who had looked after it very well. Some colour fade but guess thats the norm for yellow.

Recent car history the Golf, CTR, Leon Cupra and must say I am very happy with my Fab.

Had to have a new radiator couple of months ago, used Smart VWs in Newark, they were very good.

Anyway, when I get some cash would like to do a few bits so I guess I'll be asking questions soon... Its already got 312mm Octavia VRS brakes (which are awesome) but fancy a few other bits at some point

I also came from a mk4 Anni, Audi s3, Ibiza cupra before the fab and was very surprised how well it went. Having owned mine since new year I have spent a lot.

Mods I would suggest are powerflex bushes, whiteline rear anti roll bar, seat front strut brace and coilovers. These are a few of the mods iv made and what a difference.
