Stream MP3 won't play MP3 discs and ejects them.

Featured Replies

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. I got a 57 reg Octavia with a Stream MP3 unit a couple of weeks ago. If I put a CDROM in with MP3 folders it seems to be reading the disc then it displays CDROM and ejects the disc without playing anything. I also noticed normal audio CD's seem to skip a bit but they are fine in another car. The car was from a Skoda dealer with warranty but I'll need to check if the stereo is covered. As I say I'm just wondering if anyone else has come accross this before I start saying it's faulty to them.

Try writing the discs at a lower speed or use different discs to see if that helps.

Thanks.

I didn't have any different discs but the one I tried burning on my laptop didn't work and it was done at max speed. I tried writing one on a different computer and put the speed right down to 4x and it seemed fine with that and played it.
