Octy estate parcel shelf has broken - just stopped retracting yesterday, I'm guessing it's an easy fix if you can get into it, but I'm always worried about being too rough pulling it to bits as there's no screws or anything I can see to take it apart. Anyone know how to safely take it to bits? and /or what might be up with it...

you can pull the ends off, mine is in the garage at the moment so can't check, but just tug the ends. Also try making sure it is fully extended.
