Hi,

Just took my Octavia 1.9 tdi for an oil change (not a Skoda dealer), when I left the turbo was making a whistling noise at 2000 rpm when the turbo kicks in, it wasn't making this noise before.

I've had the car 3 years and is a 56 plate with 92k on the clock, had now problems before.

I went back and the technician said it was just "turbo lag", but he did say there was a hose off the top turbo housing which he pushed back into place (he says the spring clips are not very good)

The car does seem to splutter a bit now!

Any ideas?
