im fairly sure that the original one fits? as ive seen a guide and only a small amount had to be taken off of the bottom?

long day polishing lol

Maybe, don't think my Polo one woulda fitted though when I swapped it. I think the guide meant a small amount off the new one though as it's a fair bit taller than the old one.

I guess just buy the arm/blade and see then order the cap if needed. Save wasting a fiver.

Come and do mine for me? ;)

*******s lol cheers tho :)

How easy is this to fit then?

Really easy - there's a guide somewhere.

  1. Prise off old cap.
  2. Remove nut under the cap
  3. Remove the wiper (might need a puller of something if it's siezed - I just had to pull mine into the 'cleaning'/off screen position and it came off.
  4. Put the new blade onto the new arm (really, really easy).
  5. Put the new arm onto the car.
  6. Make sure it's sitting level.
  7. Redo up nut.
  8. Refit cap (this might need some filling to fit).

Took me about 10 minutes start to end to get the arm on. I had to adjust the blade which took a bit of time as mine was meant to be on a Passat and the clip was in the wrong place. Not a problem for the Fabia though I believe.

a bought it anyway lol hate waiting and seeing lol i would but im a wee bit away lol

let us know if it came with the cap. :)
