Just about to order some sports suspension... Is the 4x4 suspension the same as the 2wd suspension? Will it fit mine ok?

Would have thought the axle loadings would be different on the 4x4, as you've got the Haldex system fitted etc.

Check your axle weights, on the passenger door shut and compare with what you're looking at.

Axle loading is the same on 2wd and 4wd kits mine is under the maximum, 1060kg

will the rear suspension not be different on the rear of the 4x4 than 2wd models as they have drive shafts.

Rear design could be different yes. I certainly know there are two kits offered on the Golf Mk5 for example, for the GTi and R32.
