Ive had a few VRS Octavias but i wanted to know if they ever fitted a 1U with black and grey full leather?

I didnt think they did and i cant find any record of this but a friend of mine has a 04 plate car with full leather and were the silver inserts should be both on the seats and the door cards is a grey/silver leather

I take it this has been done by the privious owner and is not OEM?!

Skoda never did, no. Your mate's must be an aftermarket job.

It's something I'd love to do with mine but it's quite expensive

Never been a lover of full leather interior, certainly for spirited driving.

Half leather is about right. I had a Mondeo ST200 with full leather and although nice to look at i always felt like i was sliding off the seat when taking tight bends. My Escort RS turbo had the best recaro's that really felt like they hold you. Although the VRS looks a recaro shape do not hold in the same way.

Now R32 seat's a different matter, just sexy.

There was a set of black leather Recaros on sale here in Wellington a couple of months back and they wanted over $1000 (about 475 quid). Mind you it would probably cost more than that to get the seats and door cards done by an upholsterer.

it would be possible, I have this little vision in my head of 4x of those seats in my car ... :p

they are soo light as well, recon both combined, still weigh less than one of my 1/2 leather toledo seats

but as Oet says, those have a worthy home to go too

I want the leather ones for the vrs - i used to have the leather ones in my old cossie.. maybe i should just get another cossie lol.
