Aftermarket Radios

Featured Replies

Has anyone seen the Chinese SatNav radios on ebay that allegedly fit on these cars?

They look really nice, even better than a columbus- Satnav, SD port, USB, Bluetooth, TV, DVD player, PIP screen, has anyone tried one??

They are , to put it bluntly rubbish, Several members on here have tried, got fingers burnt and sent them back. They are riddled with software bugs, have poor user interfaces, and seem to crash a lot.

Dont sit on the fence- say what you REALLY think :giggle:

Mannyo is correct, I was considering one, bought a Pioneer instead, which I've now sold on also, the other's I know who bought a Chinese one are having battery drain issues at best and a couple have had to send them back for things like the GPS not working and the radio being crackly, you've been warned, the best VW copy is a Zenec unit or the purpose made Kenwood one, personally if I get another one I'm sticking with my Navigon for sat nav and getting a Kenwood 4028 @ £350, this has a WVGA screen and BT built in and looks almost OEM, and if you do buy any aftermarket unit, get a Connect2 can iso loom to go with it, £40.
