Looking at raising my coilovers, was planning on doing it when i popped over to gr666's with gareth_1.8t's help. But, his coilover c spanner didnt fit my coilovers. I think the grooves in mine were either too big, or different shaped. Is there an easier way of raising them up? Whats easiest?

Get the right c spanners, make sure you don't have grub screws in the collars.

Dont have grub screws i dont think. But didnt know there were different sized spanners. Now ive just looked at ebay its a good indicator. asked gareth if mine were too small or big for the spanner so hopefully will know soon

Different size and different types depending on the collars.

if all else fails you can use a small blunt chizel and a hammer to loosen off the collars had do do it with my last set of coilovers not recommended but as said can be used as a last resort
