Does that mean you will just qualify for the second tier Skoda goodwill delayed delivery payment ? ( £150 at 18 weeks and a second £150 at 25 weeks) . Not certain if that parameter is based on dealership delivery or customer collection - a grey area !:wonder:

Ordered November 6, 2010 and collected April 29, 2011. That's for the 1.2 version. Long wait but worth it.

If I'd waited until April 30 then I presume I might have been entitled to the second £150 as that would have been 25 weeks.

Ordered 25th October, 'on drive' 11th Jan........delivery time all down to the engine and spec.

Hi MX,

As someone else said it really depends on what spec you're after. Generally the petrol engined models with not too many extras specified are around 3 months and the diesel engined ones can be double the time. It's all a matter of luck it seems! I ordered my 1.2Tsi with spare wheel and front parking sensors on the 7th Feb and found out from my dealer it was built and ready for shipment when I visited him on the 20th April.I hope it now wont be too long before I get my hands on it :)

Ordered mine early Dec. Have been told that it's been built and left the factory but no sign yet. :S

Ordered Mid Dec, now been told by Skoda UK I have no build date and cars are now in hold for MY12 mods. Looks like I will be over 6 months and £300 the better for it :dull:

170CR Yetis will take the longest to come through, with 140CR DSG 4x4 following a close second!

There are quite a few sensibly priced pre-reg ones on Autotrade, might worth having a look. Otherwise, if you want yours quickly, go for a showroom car like I did.

Quite strange - yours is delayed like someone else who ordered when you did. I ordered my Yeti 170 elegance at exactly the same time as you and my confirmed build week in this week we are now in !!

Interesting ... emailed my dealer yesterday to see when I should order a 170 Yeti for March 2012 delivery, he recommended July. Seems to fit with whats being said here. Thought 4 months for my current vRS was long ... but this is something else!

òrdered on 2nd of dec 2010 due in dealers next week cr140 dsg 4x4

I am having bad thoughts at present , compounded by the endless Yeti ads an TV , Skoda cant keep up with present demand , let alone new orders .When I ordered mine about a month ago I was quoted 25 weeks , October /November. I have not as yet even been given a build week , I now read orders this week are quoted NEXT JANUARY , how about Skoda spending the advertising budget on extra shifts at the factory and catch up with present demand , the bad thoughts ?cancel and look elsewhere and give Skoda a miss , comments from the Skoda dealers on the forum would be interesting

I am waiting for a Tdi170 Elegance , steel grey ,onyx leather

From comments elsewhere I think the factory is working flat out.

Just remember that they sold around 40,000 Yeti world wide last year, compare that to the UK sales of the cashcow of a little under 40,000.....It is a fairly exclusive car. Skoda are not a large volume car producer......Just produce excellent value for money vehicles, and the best of the bunch is......A Yeti (imho)

The actual delay in production is not with the Skoda facility in Cz it is in the supply of diesel engines, and particularly the 170 - which are courtesy of the VW systems.

In a chat with Sinclair Skoda's main man he commented that they are rationed in the number they can order, but were hoping that would ease through the year.
