Hello!

Should be picking up my Octavia vRS '01 plate in red next week Saturday. I have been looking for a new car to replace my trusty steed (Civic 1.8 Vti) I have been trawling through autotrader, ebay and pistonheads for a couple of months. Narrowed my list of candidates down too a SEAT Leon Cupra, Toledo Sport, vRs or Passat Sport. Well, discovered the Leon was a little small and the engine management light came on during a test drive :p , couldnt find a well priced Toledo Sport and never got round to the Passat. Drove a vRS today , hmm very nice. I was a bit unsure going for an 01 plate as they are getting on a bit but this one I drove (and soon to purchase) has only got 45k on the clock. Seem tidy enough but not mint, well priced. Bonnet has been keyed and the paint has faded a little on the rear spoiler but thats it. Probably find a few other imperfections when I come to wash and wax it as is usually the case.

Anyway , here i am. Fingers crossed nothing will change between now and next week Saturday so I can say I own a vRS!
