:) BOOKED ME VRS IN AT DEMON TWEEKS FOR EIBACH SPRINGS FITTED AND GOT ME DISCOUNT.ORDERED STRUTBRACE AND INTAKE FROM SEAT DEALER. DEMON TWEEKS SAID THEY WOULD FIT THAT ASWELL.

If you havent been before give yourself lots of time to get there and get a good map, not of the whole trip...just the industrial estate its on! I drove around it for ages.

If you have been before, just ignore me.

btw, there was an interesting smell when i went, i think there is a cereal factory somewhere nearby  so you will know when you are close!

Are you getting shocks as well? These are probably the weak point of the vRS's handling from what I've read...

Eek! That is exactly what I was going to do, when you say they can't take it, do you mean long term? because I have heard quite a few people with just the lowering springs that are quite happy with the setup?

As I said in the thread on suspension mods, I'm not sure the standard dampers are up to coping with the weight of the PDI engine - with or without lowered springs. There's just too much bouce at the front end.

What he said.

I have also discussed this at other forums, and most advise that if you are going to do one or the other, then it has to be shock absorbers.
