I am putting some compomotive th 8x16 wheels on my vrs for th summer.What i wanted to know was if there would be any adverse effects with fitting a wider wheel with a smaller offset (they are 25 offset).Will they stick out from the body? will the tyres wear uneven without say a laser allignment.Any feedback would be much appreciated cheers.

they should fit fine..

aslong as you use standard sized tires (will give a bit of stretch), may touch the arch now and again if running super low but nothing serious

Lol, i`v just spend the last few days deciding between these and another set of wheels. They will look epic, polo6n1600 has some on here in anthercite. Personally I would run 195 but if your not dropping it too far should be ok. Get some pictures up once they`re on!

I saw a picture of your's and was going to ask yourself how you got on with yours i think wheels are a car maker or breaker i used 2 run a xr4x4 with 330bhp cossie power and had chromes 4 the summer and bk 604's for the winter.your car looks quality and a fellow scot!! Mine are matt black

Just out of interest where were u going 2 source ur wheels they are quite a tricky wheel 2 get hold of due to compomotive only doing them in limited batches they are an awesome looking wheel tho and i think suit the shape of the fabia.

sorry to read of your bad news, i was going to get mine direct from compomotive, when i spoke to them they said they would drill them for me specially ... i think £550 might have been the sum quoted from memory, could be wrong tho,

thanks pal got mine for £510 delivered from compomotive on an ebay auction had previously emailed them and they said only do them in limited batches and would have to speak to rimstyle who sell them.They wanted £550 so saved myself some money.
