alloys measurements

Featured Replies

hy guys,

i have a skoda octavia 2010 reg and i want to buy a set of 17'' alloys but i don't know what are the measurements is it 7.5 x 17''

5 Stud

PCD: 5x100 ? i realy don't know

The MKII Octavia is:

5x112 PCD

probably 7.5x17?

The ET will be around 50.

If you go to the Autec alloys website (the English bit of the German .de website is best), there is a configurator which includes all versions of the Octavia. The Scout alloys are 17x7J ET 50 5x112, but there's a whole range of combinations of sizes, widths and offsets.

Les.

You will need 17 x 7J,7.5J or 8J width. (Skoda 'Zenith' alloys are 17x7J or 18x7.5J)

PCD (bolt pattern) is as stated above-5 x 112

Offset (ET) on Skoda wheels is ET50/51, but if you are going with 17 x 7J, anything from ET35-50 would be OK

ET35 means the wheels will sit towards the outside of wheelarches more, (which will look better anyway) 50 will sit pretty much standard.

Therefore, 17 x 7.5J width you'd need to look for an ET of between 40-50, and 17 x 8J would need ET45-55

:)

Presumably an ET of 50-55 would be OK too?

I'd imagine anything up to 5mm protruding from the arches is going to be a problem?

Edit to add: Offset explained
