GETTING BLACK WHEELS ON MY WHITE VRS

Featured Replies

Now i know that there are numerous threads on here about powder coated / painted wheels but i was wondering if anyone knows of any good places to

in the North East of England where i can get my wheels painted / powder coated black?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Check the wheel specialist I know eddgee got his done there and it looks good. I booked in with them and managed to haggle down the price a lot but then decided the wheels look good as they are so cancelled. Check the wheel specialist website they are based across England.

Any competent bodyshop should be able to do this for you - you don't necessarily need a wheel specialist (unless they're other issues to resolve, kerbing damage etc).

I have used ROMAX UK in Stockton several times for re-furbishing alloys , 10/10 every time , can powdercoat almost any colour u want

ok cheers mate ill keep them in mind when my car eventaully arrives!

Mine are 18 and powder coated Matt black from Romax they do a mint job.

Wheel Specialist. They are specialists at wheels. :D

Not all bodyshops are up to the job sadly.

WS provide a warranty and although cost a bit more it's false economy with some other places as you may have to return at some point to have them tidied up.

Remember that wheels get far more punishment from the elements than standard paintwork does.

I'm not saying don't do it. Just make sure ur happy with a reputable bodyshop and maybe have a look at some of their work.

Mine have been done for 3 years and still like new, from the wheel specialist :p

Thats why you get them powder coated rather then painted.
