I believe that all VAG normal and extended warranty is done by a company call Mondial.... I can dig out the details for you if you like...

I had an extended warranty on my car and it came in mighty handy when the clutch decided to rip itself apart. I've since purchased another 12 months - which if you decide to sell the car is transferable to the new owner, so may make your car more sellable.

In addition you also get 5* AA breakdown cover (which also came in hand with above mention clutch crisis)

just talked to my dealer yesterday and they have absolutely no warranty product to sell at the moment as its being reveiwed.

looking at how many faults ive had on my fabia its probably a cost saving exercise :(

Warranties now have to comply with FSA rules and, in this case, the one previously offered by VAG is affected and is being revamped to meet those rules.
