Keeping eyes open for a pioneer with the ipod direct menu :smirk: been told a double din will go in with just the new cage on the octys?? That true ?

The avh p4200dvd i think it was ...... Maybe

The AVH P4200DVD is the one I've wanted for a while

Has all the right connections in the right places, and what appears to be a nice big on-screen menu system, which is my real bitch with single din units and huge play-lists

The JVC KW-AVX830 seems a very similar spec

Since we are on the subject. is there any double dins with built in harddrives? I have the setup to make a car computer but don't want to go down that route. Would rather have it all built in.

Anyone know of a decent one. Maybe with a swapable harddrive?

Built-in hard-drives aren't used quite so much anymore, as the USB socket is general capable of accepting a FAT32 formatted USB HDD

If you've got a spare IDE/SATA drive, you could stick it in one of those ebuyer cheapy external usb drive cases
