Emission wanring light

Featured Replies

Yesterday the orange warning light came on all of a sudden and the car went into 'limp' mode with little power and low fuel consumption. Today all is normal, no warning light and car running fine.

From reading other posts there are all sorts of reasons why this could have happened, but I don't want the car to let me down at a crucial time. Is it possible to get the fault code checked if the warning light has gone? Ie does the management system store history?

Any ideas gratefully received!

Thanks.

Management system stores history. Not a problem.
