WANTED: FABIA BREAKING, SPARES/REPAIRS!

Hi my fellow Briskodians!

I unfortunately had an accident on saturday and have damaged my beloved Fabia 2003 1.4mpi.

I am looking for a salvage/used fab that isn't wanted and I can use spares off of it so my fab can be put back on the road!

I didnt know where else to post as I want to be back driving asap! I wont be going through insurance company as I was the only car involved and ridiculous premiums (being 18 and male)!

Can someone please help me out!!!!!

Yes, an indication of your damage would help. If its front end, 95% of spares/repairs/breaking are front end damaged as well, but you might be lucky and find a rear-end write off, or one thats been T-boned in the back quarter.

Hello everyone, first time posting here. I wanted to ask about a strange noise coming from my car when turning right. I only really noticed it getting worse after a 600-mile road trip. At first, I suspected it could be the power steering pump, but I’m also wondering if it could be related to the power steering fluid. The car is relatively low mileage (under 50k), but I doubt the power steering fluid has ever been changed or topped up. Would anyone be able to listen to the sound and give some a

2012 1.2tdi Greenline Fabia II. Keeps throwing up the fault code P008700. Coil/glow plug light flashes for the remainder of the journey but resets when you come to start the car again. Does not go into limp mode and is intermittent. Changed fuel filter, in tank lift pump, fuel rail, fuel rail pressure sensor and fuel rail pressure regulator, but still appears periodically. Any suggestions as to the cause or other courses of action to try and eliminate this issue. Thanks

Hi Ive noticed my start stop system isnt working and car showing high power consumption when i switch the start stop system to on. Doing so even when no air con is on etc. Display even said engine needed to be running evening though it was! Im guessing battery is on its way out?

Hi, new to forum. Hopefully someone might be able to help. 2011 Octavia Scout, 2.0 diesel. Will start and immediately cuts out. No comms with any module except ECM via k-line. Have changed Gateway module, ECM and instrument cluster for known working units. Unplugged every module. Checked every fuse. All relays good. Other faults - electric windows not working, engine fans running, parking brake warning light flashing. Do not appear to have any commas on Can Bus, would be grateful for any suggest

This is a follow up to a previous question I posed recently. I had a 2008 vRS for over 12 years and really loved it before moving on to something different. Looking to getting back into vRS ownership again and toying with the idea of finding one with the 4x4 drive train. If anyone has been able to compare the two, is there a noticeable improvement in road handling with this variant? Thanks
