Late delivery compensation update

Featured Replies

Here's the latest.

My Octavia was ordered on 15 December 2010, but will not be built until w/c 15 May 2011, with delivery 4 weeks or so later.

The comments form on the website didn't work, so I rang Customer Services at Skoda UK (number on website), explaining that I knew of the late delivery compensation scheme, but that my dealers (White Dove in Cardiff) didn't... ahem! (They went all hazy when I asked them...)

The very helpful woman in Customer Services at Skoda UK confirmed that they are paying compensation for cars ordered after 31 December 2010 and still not received. This is £150 in servicing, accessories or M&S vouchers for 18 - 25 weeks delays, and £300 for over 25 weeks delays.

She took my details, gave me a case reference number, and it was as simple as that. Couldn't fault her. (She did sound like she did this many times a day, though....)

Hope this helps others.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Glad to see them standing by with what they promise.

Welcome to Briskoda.

Sorry to hear of the delay you are are having with your order.
