which brake discs.? mk1 superb

Featured Replies

hi,

there seems to be two variants for the front brake discs for the mk1 superb.

its seems to be that there is a height difference between the two variants and also i think the centre hole?

ive not had the time to check on what discs are on my car but i do know that the discs have 10 holes.

will any of these variants fit or do i have to get the exact match.?

how can i properly confirm which discs i need?

im also wanting a top quality pair of discs as i use my car as a taxi and safety is top priority. this is also why i can never get a chance check everything as the car is always on the road.!

thanks

Go to someone like TPS and quote them the reg, the details will then come up, there are IIRC 2 sizes for the MKI Superb, the 4 cylinder cars all the smaller diameter and the V6 engined cars which use the larger ones.

Trade Parts Specialist ideal for a cabbie

ahaa ok thanks for that

are you 100% sure that the smaller engined cars used the smaller diameter discs? and the larger engined used the larger diameter ones?

its just confusing as eurocarparts list both sizes for my specific car
