The blade for the passenger side should be a curved blade, and the drivers side should be a straight blade, and they should both be different lengths....most people fit straight blades to both and then complain about "judder" If both blades are correct then clean windscreen with warm water and some Fairy liquid (rinse it off painwork)...this should get rid of most grease etc. B)

Hi, i have always used correct blades length wise and shape, its just that ive been

so frustrated with this problem that i will try just about any thing.ive tried washing with fairy liquid but the problem remains and it is always worse on the drivers side.

I'd love to know the answer to this! My rear is the same. Replaced it with a new areo arm/blade from VW so the only bit left in the bit it screws onto and it still skips/hops. WHY?!

Can you get curved aero wipers though

Mine is the rear wiper, shoulda said. The rear window is flat anyway.

Fronts are areo too, and they're fine.

Ive got aero wipers on the front but still the same judder and vibration.

its a bit of a long shot but you could try and bend the arm the metal bit that holds the blade so there's more pressure pushing down on the blade its self be careful not to much had same problem on an old car seemed to work also try auto glym fast glass cleaner on glass and blade before you put the wiper back on the screen i use champion blades both straight drivers side 53cm and passenger side 19cm never had any trouble from them silent and no judders :)

Hi. ive tried that not made any difference

Tried all sorts of blades and the best I have found are Goodyear wiper blades. Hard to get hold of but there are some on Ebay.

Would suggest trying tp twist the arm (I use an adjustable spanner) as the blade is probably sitting at a strange angle to the glass. Try both ways and different amounts. If you can stop it mid stroke by turning the ignition off you may get an initial idea.

Just seen this which confirms my suspision:-

If you do resort to trying to bend the arm,it is safer to use two adjustable spanners, one where it joins the tapered metal sleeve, and one nearer the blade fixing. That way you dont put any strain on the lower part of the arm, where the splined driving shaft is.
