Had a play with an Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Featured Replies

On my morning commute, there is a long sliproad with two lanes.

To summarise i got off with a very poor start, and then he gunned it. By the time i got up to 70mph I had pretty much beaten him.

It was a brand new model with two exhausts.

The look on his face was priceless.....Its only a Skoda....Honest!!!!!!!!

His car should be well over 200bhp isn't it? 230 or something. So either he wasn't actually racing you, you have a hybrid turbo or the more likely outcome is that his car broke down.

That Alfa will have the 170bhp T-Jet surely. My neighbour has the 120bhp T-Jet one and showed me the brochure with the models/engines etc.

I absolutely shot past a Porsche 911 GT3, no problem,

It was of course parked.

I over took about 300 cars today in one stretch....I was drivinh down from Doncaster to Cornwall mind.

fiar one mate i am sure your driving was well with in the standards that any reasonable person :p so there fore completely legal

Genius comment. How do you know?

Was he squirming in his seat. Grimmacing? Sticking his tongue out in concentration?

Fair play though. Being a born cynic I always wonder if the other driver was 'trying'...

Only the 235bhp petrol and the 140bhp diesel have dual tail pipes.

However for about £500 after market rear valence and dual tail pipes can be had. Perhaps you owned the 1.4 135bhp version?!? :giggle:

BRING BACK MIL :giggle:

There is a guy who I wound up in a BMW Z4 a few days ago - he got smogged in 4th! :)He was hugging my arse all the way to the 30mph limit - he was just trying to push me along faster - it didnt work - got to the national limit and floored it - I didnt break the speed limit - I just want it to smoke a bit - he backed off after that! :)

Right, everyone knows the forum's stance on racing, so locking this one. Please refrain from similar in future, everyone.
