Featured Replies

ive had some wheel specs back from demon tweeks to find a lightweight wheel that will fit over the brembo gt kit

Pro race 1.2 8x17 et33 Pro race 1.2 7.5x17 et25 Compomotive MO1771 7x17 et12 {6 spoke}

MO1772 7x17 et12 {5 spoke}

MO1783 8x17 et25 {5 spoke}

MO1782 8x17 et25{ 6 spoke

so im wondering if anyone has any of these specs?

cheers

have you got a picture please m8?

205/40/17 Toyo's with a 55/45 drop - offset is 32

My superleg's are 8J wide. Fit fine.

mind on were looking for wheels that definitely clear brembo 4 pots without spacers :thumbup:

out of the ones above these sound the best to me

Pro race 1.2 7.5x17 et25

but bear in mind its more about spoke design

offset is 32

You got a pic of how close your alloy is to the strut? :thumbup:

You've got 3mm less clearance strut side than me and i'm about 5mm off the strut.

Mine are 17" 8j et35

To pip-vrs

Your the wrong way round ..... The lower the et the more it pokes out

So et32 offers more poke / strut clearance than your et 35

Haha yer good point. Dunno why i was thinking that :-S

Oh and has anyone run a 215 tyre on a 8J rim on a lowered Fabia?

id like to know this aswell m8

would anyone go for the full package of the pro race 1.2 with new toyo 205/40/17

or

wheels only and put my toyos on which are 215/45/17

?

45 is too big a profile

215's arent a problem

  • Author

duh ive got 215/40/17 on lol

I have no rubbing problems at all - et is 32 - gyres are 205/40's

When i bought my ROTA's they came with 215/40/17 on the backs and they scrubbed on EVERYTHING. Changed them to 205/40/17 and they don't catch on anything. The fronts slightly scrub the inner arch liner on full lock, but nothing at all when driving.

I run 215/40 R17 but mine isn't lowered hardcore due to my exhaust hanging down.

Offset I think is ET32 or ET35. Need 3mm spacers to clear the brakes though.

mines dropped about the same as yours m8

are these the 8j's?

was gonna get the 7.5 et25 you see without spacers hopefully

I can get the end of my finger between the rim edge and the strut. It's all good

Has anyone ever experienced with 16" steelies widened to 8J?

The wheels are: 6.5Jx16 ET 42 and will be widened to 8J
