Been given a build date today but on the system it shows as "Advisory Build Week suject to confirmation"

Build week is 40 and even if it is built then we'll be looking at a 40-44 week wait, was quoted 16-20weeks at order.

But something synical in me says Skoda are giving out "Advisory" Build weeks to calm people down when really they haven't scheduled anything.

I was given this ages ago. Still showing on the system as advisory build date 8th July (week 27/28 ish). Ordered 14th March. We shall see.

some of these quoted build weeks are scary indeed, ive yet to be given any updates for my end of march order but i must admit had i been quoted october back then i wouldnt have paid a deposit and instead gone for something else or even just stick with what i have, after-all a mk1 vrs isnt a bad car either. i only waited about 6 weeks for that back in 04

if i dont hear something confirmed by mid june i might start asking how i get my deposit back coz im not that patient, i really dont know how some of you guys on here have been
