Ballamys, Citygates and Saltdean Garage, all Sussex dealers in the same group, have a 2 year 0% finance offer on the Fabia vRS. >=50% deposit required (this can usually be made up with trade in), it works out at 24 montly payments of 'car price'-deposit/24

Might have to pop in and have a chat with them when I'm down there next weekend!

This is true. I have a car to p/x that is a non dealer retail car (i.e over 3 years old and 30k). So what i propose is to get a trade book value for the car, and ebay it at that. This means someone will get a very cheap car indeed :( But needs must. I am off to my local dealer on saturday to benchmark a deal. The key for me is cost to change :)

Holy poo

This is shocking. When i used to sell Skoda's Micronet showroom was based in Chesterfield and would buy 2-3 skoda's a week from us. So this is suprising for me. Any tips and quality internet car suppliers !?!?

Who is the lender?

Lombard Direct (credit cards anyway, so assume most of them will be) are underwritted by Royal Bank of Scotland, as are Mint, Natwest, and several others.
